The Zarayan mansion was unusually quiet. Not because no one was there but because all the staffs who used to follow their daily routine were not present today in the mansion. The first, third and fourth floor were vacant but the real commotion was happening on the second floor.
Torans of marigold and mango leaves with hint of jasmine petals were hanging on the doors and entrance symbolising an auspicious congregation. Bunches of jasmine and oleander flowers were embedded as long thick garlands that were rounded around the pillars, railings, staircases creating a soothing, ethereal atmosphere that could compel anyone to stop by them and stare for hours. Fairy lights adorned every corner and walls illuminating the whole floor with its soft golden streaks creating an otherworldly surrounding.
